Key Team Members

Linda Kreft

Linda joined TravelMBA in early 2008 after having built a successful career in international program management.  An Indiana native, Linda studied Spanish and French at Indiana University and spent a year living in Spain and studying at the University of Madrid as part of an IU exchange.  For her first job out of school, Linda spent four years working for the country's preeminent rare book and antique map dealer in Chicago, focusing on books, maps, manuscripts and documents printed from 1492 to 1850.

Wanting to use her language skills, Linda transitioned to Rotary International where she worked with Rick Rosenfeld for several years.  After Rick's departure from Rotary, Linda stayed on for 8 more years, ultimately becoming Rotary's Manager of International Programs.    In this capacity, Linda managed a team of 20 people and traveled extensively around the world, managing Youth Exchange and a variety of community and international support programs.

In 2002, Linda returned to Indiana, where she has worked as an administrator for an arts council and as a grant program manager for a college.  Missing the international arena, Linda decided to join Rick at TravelMBA, resuming her work with students and using her Spanish skills to interact with travel suppliers in Central and South America.

In her spare time, Linda enjoys the performing arts and is a movie buff. Linda lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
