Laura Bunch

Laura Bunch joined TravelMBA in 2007 after working for Kellogg School of Management for two years. Laura, an Iowa native, studied management and communication at Luther College and earned her Masters in English Education from Western Illinois. In between her undergraduate and graduate studies, Laura worked as an account manager for a marketing firm for nearly two years.

After receiving her Masters, Laura taught high school English for a semester before moving to Chicago while her husband studied for his MBA. Unable to find vacant teaching jobs in the Chicago suburbs, Laura stumbled into a tremendous opportunity with Kellogg’s Global Initiatives in Management program. As program manager from 2005 to 2007, Laura found a position that allowed her to combine her passion for working with students, her strong organizational skills, and her love of travel. During this time, Laura worked closely with TravelMBA as a client, and had an opportunity to see the results of TravelMBA's planning while escorting groups to Turkey, Dubai, and Southern Africa.

Laura loved her Kellogg experience so much that when her family relocated to St. Louis in 2007, she decided to join the TravelMBA team. In her spare time, Laura enjoys scrapbooking, reading, swimming, and spending quality time with her nieces and nephews. Laura and her husband have one daughter.
