TravelMBA is pleased to announce its merger with the WorldStrides’ University Division: Accent Travel Group.

Accent Travel Group is a leading supplier of travel and logistics services to support MBA and Executive MBA global curricula efforts.  In operation since 1975, the organization provides services to 70 universities. Nearly half of TravelMBA’s current client schools are also clients of Accent Travel Group. TravelMBA clients will continue to be served by their respective account managers led by Rick Rosenfeld. Accent will augment TravelMBA’s service capacity, providing additional offerings in the areas of business meeting services, direct airline ticketing services, visa services, and currency hedging capabilities.  TravelMBA’s clients will immediately benefit from access to the combined organization’s $27 million insurance policy, emergency evacuation and medical insurance, as well as its position as the only MBA focused travel organization registered to serve students from all 50 states.

Says Rosenfeld, “We are excited to join the country’s oldest and most trusted student travel organization. While we have been competitors for several years, in this merger we see incredible synergies between Accent and TravelMBA which will ultimately better serve our clients and our employees.”

Adds Jim Hall, Chief Executive Officer of WorldStrides, “We are pleased with this important addition to the University Division of WorldStrides. TravelMBA maintains an impressive client list and an excellent group of travel professionals who we are glad to count as colleagues in our mission of enriching students’ lives through educational travel.”
